New updates of the Galaxy Note 9 improve the ability to take photos “take a selfie” but still do not have the Night Mode as users expect.
Samsung has just released a new update to improve some camera features on the Galaxy Note 9. Although there are no important features, these small changes make Note 9 users easier to use.
According to SamMobile, the new optional update, allowing Galaxy Note 9 users to change the FOV (field of view) between standard and wide-angle lenses when taking selfies. It also has a Night Mode-related feature but is not really a night mode on the Galaxy S10. Instead, it helps people schedule Night Mode for the camera interface. Basically, you let GPS track the location and automatically switch to dark background after sunset or schedule it yourself.
Galaxy Note 9 does not include Night Mode for camera application like Galaxy S10 but this does not mean Samsung will ignore it completely. It’s just that at the moment, Korean companies want to keep the best features for their latest smartphones.
