Step 1: Press and release the Volume Up button
Press and release the Volume up button to the right of the iPad. Note, you need to press and release the Volume up button, not press and hold it.
Step 2: Press and release the Volume Down button
As soon as you press and release the Volume up button, press and release the Volume down button on the right side of the iPad. As noted in Step 1, keep in mind that you need to press and release the Volume down button, not press and hold it.
Step 3: Press and hold the Power button
As soon as you press and release the Volume down button, press the Top button. You will see the Slide to Power off button. You do not care about this button and keep the Top button until you see the Apple logo, drop it.
Wait for the iPad 201 warm-up process to complete and you’ll see the lock screen.
